Sleeping Kṛṣṇa
"I heard from my teacher that “In the evening you could turn your head towards Krishna’s feet.”
This image has seemed wonderful, especially when the day has been filled with too much and the mind is plagued by doubts about the arrival of sleep.
For me, this is accompanied by a desire to accept oneself as one is and a reminder to surrender to Krishna. There is something gentle about the imagery, and it has become an important practice for me.
Krishna's feet also appeared in the pages of the Bhagavatam. I was startled when I first read the detailed descriptions of how Krishna should be viewed.
Starting with the feet felt natural, but the whole idea of me being able to look at Krishna directly felt daunting.
